Notes From My Testers:
Dani: “I loved this skirt- I loved how the button placket and hem came together for a clean finish! Excited to make more- a definite new staple in my closet. So many patterns are elastic waists and having one that is a more fitted, refined pattern is wonderful.”
Christina: “Look no further for a beautiful Doen dupe skirt! This skirt fits all the boxes: timeless, satisfying and flexible make!”
Vivian: “This is heirloom quality, with such thoughtful details throughout! A skirt for all times.”
Sam: “I have wanted a skirt like this for ages, so I knew I had to apply when the amazing Nadine skirt pattern came along. So much care, attention and thought has gone into this beautiful pattern. The instructions are clear, thorough and well thought out. I am so impressed that it is Laural's first pattern release. Thank you so much Laural for sharing this gorgeous pattern with the world! I can't wait to try the ruffle version next.”
Ellie: “The finish on this pattern is so considered and clean, I love being able to sew a detailed garment without having to get out my overlocker. The curved pattern piece gives the fixed waistband a great fit and feels comfortable. A lovely pattern, thoughtfully designed.”
Emily: “The cutest design! I always love patterns that are simple but impactful.”
Karen: “I absolutely love how beautiful the Nadine skirt pattern is! It has such a lovely boho-casual vibe! I can easily imagine myself strolling through woods and fields while wearing it. Laural has truly done an amazing job, and I would highly recommend this pattern to anyone who loves this aesthetic, enjoys sewing, and appreciates a quick and easy project. This skirt is incredibly versatile; it works as a great wardrobe staple and can be styled for any season. Laural has been so kind and open to all the feedback she received, and it's clear how much effort she has put into making this pattern a success…”
Olivia: “Laural has created a truly beautiful pattern with the Nadine. Feminine and detailed. I love her vision and this pattern will be a staple for many, including myself.”
Emily: “Well done on your first pattern Laural! It is a beautiful pattern and I've really enjoyed making it. I'm sure that I'll enjoy wearing it for many occasions. It's lovely when a pattern can be customised and it works well as a midi and as a maxi skirt. It's also a great pattern to learn from with the instructions for a receiving tuck. I'm sure I'll be sewing up another version of this soon!”
Pia: “The Nadine Skirt was the perfect project on a cold February day with spring in mind. The possibilities are endless and I can not wait to make another one.”
Amie: “I love this skirt! It's not one I have seen versions of yet, and I appreciate that. I think that the proportions and volume are just perfect. I made view A, but as soon as I saw the Bs coming in, I knew I had to make one of those soon too! Love those little ruffles! Can't wait to wear it in a month or two when the sun warms up! :)”
Evelyn: “I really enjoyed making this skirt and was pleased with how the skirt turned out. It’s great that this pattern is so versatile for each season depending on what fabric you choose. The original design is lovely but you can also try small tweaks to really make it your own.”
Sabine: “I really love this skirt and it is my favorite skirt in my entire wardrobe. It is so feminine and comfortable.”
Benita: “I love this style of skirt. The tier lengths are spot on and having buttons provides an option to add little pops of colour if working with plain fabrics.”
Emma: “The Nadine skirt pattern is a timeless pattern to have in your collection! Especially on the start of your me made wardrobe. I’m excited to make many different versions. To be quite honest, I haven’t used a pattern for many years and they can be quite daunting for me. This one was, at times, a little daunting. After rereading certain instructions over again, I was able to figure it out and learned SO much. It gave me so much confidence to try new things and ultimately give me the motivation to continue on my me made wardrobe journey :)”
Kaci: “This is an elevated classic I can’t wait to make again and again!”
Lexi: “the nadine is a beautiful skirt pattern that i would recommend to an adventurous beginner or intermediate sewist! the dramatic silhouette is whimsical and elevated yet so fun!”
Kenniesha: “I really enjoyed the ease of this skirt coming together. Outside of the ruffle this was a pretty quick sew. The style is beautiful and sophisticated.”
Emma: “This is the perfect skirt pattern for all seasons, it works great in different fabrics which make it so versatile and it is a super flattering fit! I cant wait to make more!”
